Big Week

I had my first opportunity of presenting at a convention this past week. The professional organization I belong to presented at the Illinois Music Educators convention on Thursday in Peoria. The local news was there. We made the 10 o'clock news.
My friend Sue even got interviewed! The funny thing is that she thought was being interviewed for the paper, not tv.

On Friday, Sue and I presented our own presentation. All were a big success.

After the holidays

Kane's new jeep from Santa. Thanks to the warm weather we were able to try it out.

Kane in his tux for the wedding he was in at the beginning of December. And yes, mom did have to walk him down the aisle while I was singing. Thank God for wireless mics.

Lego man

I was inspired by a student at school for Kane's costume this year. He was telling me about being a lego. I thought it was a great idea. Too bad we only made it to two houses for trick-or-treating before Kane wanted to go home. He'd rather pass out candy and see the kids costumes.
