Lego man

I was inspired by a student at school for Kane's costume this year. He was telling me about being a lego. I thought it was a great idea. Too bad we only made it to two houses for trick-or-treating before Kane wanted to go home. He'd rather pass out candy and see the kids costumes.

Our little baseball player

Our newest family member!

Here's Rosie. She loves to cuddle and snuggle. Kane likes her from afar, but gets a little creeped out when she touches him.

Kane the photographer?

Kane likes to take pictures, so I thought I would include some of his self portraits.

Grrrr. . . . .

There was a circus in Gibson tonight. Despite the heat, it was still pretty neat.

oh kids.

Kane decided that he wanted to wear Mr. Potato Head's glasses. Not a bad look.

No Mom. I didn't put my mouth on Dad's exhaust pipe! Thank goodness it wasn't hot.

Summer

So far summer has been great. It started off very hot, but lately it has been just wonderful. Kane and I go to the park just about every day. We usually spend 2-3 hours outside a day. We've been swimming in Grandma Carol's pool as well as the pool in Colfax. Check out what mom had swimming in her pool today.

We hadn't exactly planned on swimming today. Kane was standing on the steps of the pool, as soon as Kane gets wet, he has to take off his shorts and then his shirt and finally his diaper. Crazy kid!

This is a random photo, Kane usually is up by around 6:15, well a while back he was still asleep at 7. We went in to check on him and here's what we found.

Gotta love the tractor

Please note. Kane chooses not to hold on or steer. Instead he has on one garden glove and is holding a spade.

The Big 2!

Camden is way more excited than Kane is

Cruisin' with cousin Ashlyn at Sydney's Birthday party

Kane celebrated his second birthday last weekend. I'm pleased to say that he has played with every toy he got. It's been a busy couple of months. Dance season started in January so I've been practicing a couple of days a week. We've got our 3rd game this weekend, but unfortunately Solo & Ensemble is the next day, so I can't even go out after the game.

Ever since the last big snowstorm Kane has been sleeping in a toddler bed. Everything was going great until the time change. Kane's been staying up until 9:30, when he usually goes to bed at 8:30. A few nights ago he finally realized he could get out of bed when he wants. I hear the pitter patter of little feet at 2am and then 3 am the next morning. The last few days he's been waking up at 5:55am and wanting to watch "toons."

Happy Holidays

Check out my cool new tractor

So I borrowed this from a coworker for my Christmas program and I couldn't resist

What a hambone!

It's been a busy Holiday season as usual. Things started to get crazy in November because that is when I start to put things together for the big Christmas extravaganza. I had two concerts in December and they just happened to be in the same week. All went well. Unfortunately I spent more time behind the camcorder than the camera. These are some random shots.

Thanks Meryl for the great idea of bringing in the snow.
